Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park, Texas
Presidents are honored with “legacy parks” that serve as a more natural, open-space interpretation of that president’s life (as opposed to presidential libraries). What makes LBJ’s park unique is the buzz of events like film showings and barbecues. Ranger Russ Whitlock quoted LBG, “Don’t let it become a sterile relic of the past. Keep it alive and vigorous, with people using it in a variety of ways.” Available as a poster, framed print, notecard, postcard, metal sign, or canvas, this original national park art would look great on any wall.
